7 January 2019 – Three years after Thistle Housing commenced the failed upgrades and still no end in sight. Where’s the the responsible Thistle Director? Thistle’s not saying but the arrogant Operations Manager, immediately in charge of all things Thistle, as in OPERATIONS, for some reason still around, other than frequent days off, and still grazing on a huge salary package. Toryglen residents continue to be ignored …and lied to.

Unfortunately, No. Thistle had been constantly warned for TWO YEARS by local builder residents that the work was sub standard and trusted an inept daily contracted ‘heating engineer’ to voice his, laughingly, inexpert opinion.

30 November 2016. The date this £8.5million contract collapsed in ignominious failure (with no penalty clauses to fall back on) with none of the works to all of the houses in Toryglen complete. Heading for a year later, STILL not complete. Thistle (and its retained, expensive PR Consultants) stays silent.

First Minister sees the substandard work and hears the sorry tales from residents in the street. E.ON then makes more vacuous promises which quickly disappear like mist in the wind just like their invisible workforce. Thistle stays silent.
Thistle keeps EVERYTHING secret. No website. No online presence. Why? Does someone have a dark secret? “…new schedule”? That worked out well. Again. Thistle stays silent.
