1,322 DAYS – 3 YEARS + 7 MONTHS + 14 DAYS
since Thistle’s mismanaged Major Works Programme started on 7th January 2016
994 DAYS – 32 MONTHS + 17 DAYS
since 30th November 2016 when “all of the works to all of the houses in Toryglen will be complete“. Today, 21st August 2019, still incomplete, work proven to be shoddy and more importantly, dangerous and now possibly hazardous to life and limb
One year ago today, 21 August 2018, the Scottish Housing Regulator found it necessary to “engage” with Thistle Housing Association as a consequence of a lengthy torrent of residents’ complaint, ignored by Thistle’s corrupt management.
The Regulator’s Report
Just after midday today, The Scottish Housing Regulator published on its website, the results of its latest engagement (read, investigation into) with Thistle Housing Association.
In simple terms, the results are damning and once again, highlights the long term, insidious failures of Thistle’s lying, greedy and grossly inept management and their completely unsuitable poodle Management Committee (statutory appointees excepted).

Annual General Meeting
Tonight, 21 August 2019, is Thistle’s Annual General Meeting. It was always going to be a bit of a, let’s say, question and demand answers session but this report has just provided so much fuel for the Thistle fire, that it would seem possible that the ‘discussions’ will take a slightly different turn.
Lie After Lie After Lie
Thistle’s management are FAILED, the existing members of the Committee are so profoundly inept, they have continuously lied to Toryglen residents and, worse still, lied to the Regulator. They have falsified figures in reports, they have failed to undertake required safety procedures for years and more, much, much more. Such conceited self indulgent arrogance.
On an even more serious note, they have held Toryglen residents in contempt, they have manipulated the truth, they conspired to lie to residents about their fears of asbestos contamination, they lied about water testing, they lied about the major chimney and roof faults, they lied about Grace McColgan (the disappeared Director), about “a fixed price contract” regarding the Major Works Programme. In fact, they lied about everything just and only in a desperate attempt to maintain their clearly and unarguably unjustified positions and the huge salaries which come with them.
Let’s see how the AGM goes but Thistle’s humiliated and incompetent management and their crony pals on the Committee should hang their heads in utter shame and simply go and go quickly.
There may be other revelations at tonight’s AGM.
Once again, the questions has to be and MUST be asked,
